September brings a new layer of trust to signatures and a more complete AI experience across DottSign. We’re launching KYC identity verification along with a series of AI improvements across the interface, user experience, and platform capabilities.
The goal is simple: make contracts more trustworthy and AI more useful at the moments that matter most.
Verify who is signing
With KYC identity verification, organizations can add an official identity check when a signature requires more than just an email address. Before proceeding, the signer can complete the process using a government-issued ID, a liveness check, and facial matching.
The result is a stronger connection between the verified person and the signature linked to the contract. When allowed, an approved verification can also be reused if the same signer needs to complete another eligible verification, reducing repeated steps without compromising the audit trail.
Identity verification was designed for cases where trust is essential: sensitive contracts, regulated processes, higher-value transactions, and situations where the signer’s identity is part of the decision.
A more useful AI experience
We’re also improving the AI experience across DottSign. The workspace assistant is getting better at finding contracts, reviewing obligations, checking notifications and usage, and preparing actions for your confirmation when a change affects your data.
The improvements cover three areas:
- Interface: clearer states, easier-to-read responses, and better visual feedback while AI is working.
- Experience: more context, smoother conversations, and clearer confirmations before applying an action.
- Capabilities: more efficient contract search, better handling of obligations and renewals, and more structured responses grounded in your workspace.
AI should help you move faster when working with contracts without making decisions silently. In DottSign, important actions still depend on your confirmation, and the assistant’s work is easier to follow.
